The engine handles multi-tenant isolation, lazy schema rollout, forks, snapshots, and CDC.

The shift-left bet

Tenant = consistency boundary

Queries are scoped to one tenant by default. Forks, snapshots, and residency are engine operations. Cross-tenant work uses CDC and app-layer sagas.

Pipe-based queries with editor completions. Schemas are versioned source. Money uses integer minor units and a currency.

Local-first engine

A directory on disk is the durable database. The playground runs the same language and executor in the browser.
